Lovely Little Lola!
Dearest Lola, what an utterly adorable child you are, a darling little Domestic Longhair kitten, only nine weeks old! You are so cute in all those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. How nice to see you with your human family members in some of them! That fuzzy kitten fur is so pretty and looks so very soft, and don't you ever have just the sweetest face with that cute pink nose and the long whiskers and those lovely big eyes that are just losing their kitten-blue color. That face certainly captured my heart immediately! I wish I could reach through the screen and down over to St. Louis to pet you, and pet your dear "Big Sister" Penelope, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you both for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You're "a tiny kitten with a huge heart and a lot of energy." You love basking in the sun, playing with Penelope and your toys, going for neighborhood walks with your dear Purrrsons while snuggled up in their hoodies, and sharing loads of love and cuddles with them! You just joined your family a couple of weeks ago, to become good friends with Penelope and keep your Purrrsons busy and happy during the quarantine. You and they and Penelope all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Lola, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Penelope and Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
