    Sweet Zoe

Dear Zoe, what a beautiful tabby girl you are. Your silver coat looks so soft, and your little face with those gorgeous markings is adorable.
When your future forever family visited the Humane Society to love on some kitties, you made sure to be noticed among the many Katrina survivors. You were the feisty one, climbing all over the cage, and even hanging upside down. And as soon they took you out, you fell asleep in their arms.
That sealed the deal, and now you been with your humans for many years.
Even though you are a senior kitty now, your mom still calls you her baby girl.
Zoe, you are precious beyond words, and I wish you, your kitty sisters and your parents a great day full of celebration, and many more happy and healthy years together.

Dearest Zoë, what a beautiful lady you are! You are absolutely stunning with that soft-looking fur with silver-tabby coloring and the sweet face with those lovely big eyes with such a look of love and contentment in them. You look so comfy relaxing on that soft people-bedding! I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Davenport, FL to pet you, and pet your three sisters, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you all for me .

What a story of how you and your dear Purrrsons came together! They went to the shelter to visit and give the kitties some love.. and found the place was over-run with refugees from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. They visited kitties in the "cat room" but then noticed one feisty kitten in particular in a cage in the lobby.. climbing all over the cage, even to the top and hanging upside down. They asked to take you out, you fell asleep in their arms, and the rest is history! When you first came home, you chose the best place to sleep.. on the pillow above your dear Purrrson's head, kneading his/her hair until you fell asleep.

You have the most delightful Purrrsonality! You're "the sweetest little girl in the world" but have no fear, not even of your big sister who's seven years older and twenty pounds heavier! You squeak rather than meow when you have something to say. You are and always will be your Purrrson's baby girl! You and your dear family members, feline and human, all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Zoë, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear kitty housemates and Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Hello, Zoe in Florida! Happy Cat of the Day!

What a gorgeous tabby lady you are! I like your silver fur, and your sweet face!

I smiled when I read about how you and your forever family met that day! They had gone to the shelter to love on the kitties, and you made a very strong impression! You fell asleep in your person's arms, and that was that!

Now your mom calls you her baby girl. You squeak, rather than meow, when you have something to say. You sleep on your person's head, and knead her hair! Best of all- you are a loved kitty!

Happy, happy Cat of the Day to Zoe!
