Be still my Lab loving heart!!! What a precious baby boy you are, Maverick! The sight of your beautiful little face has melted my heart into a puddle of pure mush! And yes, you DO have that "look of innocence" about you, but we know better! Yes, puppies will be puppies, and we doggie pawrents wouldn't have it any other way! And by all accounts, I have every confidence as you grow you'll more than live up to your iconic namesake!

Oh, what fun your family is in for, watching you grow and learn over the days, weeks and months to come! And what a fun filled, action packed life awaits you, Maverick, what with trips to the cottage, beaches to run on and stinky dead stuff to roll over, hehe, swimming in the ocean; every Labbie's dream life come true!

Dearest Maverick, you are adorable! What a sweet, precious young man you are, so cute lying there so comfortably and looking out at me. You are just ten weeks old, and you've been with your family for three weeks now. You're full of energy and make your dear people smile with your antics! You love playing with your toys, especially your plastic pop bottle. You have three kitty housemates, and you think they're puppies, too! You are already beginning to "retrieve" things, maybe not always things you should retrieve. You and your dear people and kitties all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
