    Feeding a toothless cat...

Oscar is nowhere near starving to death but I am getting really frustrated.

He has his little tiny front teeth - the incisors - but geez I wish there was a teflon coated cat dish so he could pull the food out more easily.

If this was Cole, it would be easy. Cole will eat anything, any way possible.

Oscar will sometimes get a good nibble out of dry food. There are a couple of senior foods he likes. According to the vet, he needs a mix of urinary and senior food. I use Royal Canin urinary/satiety kibble and senior wet food, either Royal Canin or Pet Valu's own brand.

I just don't know what to do any more. I have to deal with the food several times during his meal time. This is driving me nuts!

    Thanks for letting me vent.

If you have any ideas please post them.

What is easier for Oscar to get out of his bowl, the wet or the dry food?
Maybe you can feed him off a paper plate, lined with something rubbery, like a silicone pot holder.
