    KING is KING

    King is a such a handsome boy! I can't imagine the fun in a family with both a Basset Hound and a Bloodhound! Sounds like a perfect household to me!

    Hi King! Congrats on being crowned Dog of the Day!

    What a pawsitively hunky, handsome, gentle giant of a Bloodhound you are, King; 110 lbs of perfection on 4 paws; turning heads and making friends wherever you go!

    King turns heads wherever he goes. Kids are often scared of him because he"s so big, but he absolutely loves all people and other dogs. Really, he is a big love bug, though living with him often feels like living with a well-intentioned bear
    A friend to all, 2 and 4 leggers alike, that you are; the ultimate cuddle bug! And to talk about smart! But a mere 1 year old and already you're racking up titles!

    King is also one of only five Bloodhounds with a Novice Trick Dog title through Do More With Your Dog, and can perform tricks such as speak, wave, spin, jump through a hoop, and take a bow to finish it off.
    Now that's impressive!!! How lucky your human is, having a furkid as beautiful, as smart and accomplished, as gentle and loving as you, King! You truly are one EXTRA special boy, beautiful inside and out, a gem!!!

    Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today, seeing all of your fab, heart-melting photos has been such fun! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration...pestering your big sister Maggie the Bassett and chasing bubbles; napping on your windowsill after helping Mom at work; being spoiled to the max and loved to pieces! Your long fur is such a gorgeous color, and what a sweet face you have with that big smile and those lovely eyes. You have the most delightful personality, which shines through beautifully in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. You live with your mom and your Basset Hound housemate Maggie. You are very talented and can do many tricks. You love to chase bubbles in the back yard and lounge on the bay windowsill where you can watch out the window and take a nice nap in the sun. You are a big love-bug, and you and your dear mom and sister Maggie all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
