Marvelous Mickee!
Dearest Mickee, what an adorable young man you are! You are an absolutely precious kitten, five months old and full of energy. You're so cute in both of those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. That orange tabby fur is so pretty and looks so soft, and you have the sweetest face, with those lovely big orange eyes that match your fur. My orange tabby (with white trim) girl Sparkler with matching orange eyes says you're the kitten she would have had if she'd ever had kittens! I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Largo, FL to pet you, and pet your three feline siblings and canine sibling, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you all for me .
And what a delightful story you have to tell! Your dear Purrrson saw you in an adoption event and couldn't resist. (We thank him/her for choosing a rescue kitty. You are a terrific example, Mickee, of the rescue treasures to be found!) Your new feline and canine siblings didn't exactly welcome you with open paws, but you immediately took over the house. You're full of energy and make your dear Purrrsons smile with your antics. You love to jump and play and bask in the Florida sunshine and watch Tampa Bay Rays baseball on TV. You also love to play fetch and help out when someone uses the computer printer. You enjoy hiding out under the shower curtain and then, when unsuspecting people walk by, jumping out to scare them. You don't meow, but you get your point across with almost human-like noises. You're a real mover and shaker who has awakened the youth of your older felines! You and they and your doggie housemate and Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Mickee, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear doggie and kitties and Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats, maybe some special food, wet and/or dry, with turkey in it!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
