Dearest Mocha, what a gorgeous Himalayan Cross kitty you are! That thick, fluffy fur looks so soft, utterly luxurious in those beautiful colors, and what a sweet face you have with those long white whiskers and eyebrows, and those big almond-shaped blue eyes with the lovely black mascara surrounding them. You look so comfortable relaxing there! I wish I could reach through the screen and around the world and Down Under to Toowoomba, Queensland, in Australia to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .

And what a terrific story you have to tell! You were originally with your dear Purrrsons' daughter Tracey. Then you needed to find another home. You weren't supposed to join your Purrrsons' family because they already had three cats, the maximum allowed under local law. They couldn't find anyone else for you and they already thought of you as their grandchild, so they kept you even so! They refer to you as Tracey's child. Since then, your former housemates have come and gone, and now you are the only one (completely legal)).

You have the most delightful Purrrsonality! You love being with people, especially in winter. You have a special door and can come and go as you please. Your dear Tracey, in Switzerland now, visits with you on Skype! You once won a highly commended Australian photogenic cat competition. You are well-fed, a very lovely cat (except when moulting). You and your dear Purrrsons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Mocha, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons are all enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know your earlier kitty housemate Angels are all rejoicing with you at the Rainbow Bridge!
