    Hi Opal! Happy Pet of the Day!

    You truly are one stunning Ball Python girl, Opal! Your many shaped markings are so beautiful, so unique! And if I'm not mistaken, I do see a heart shape in that top photo! As your human says, you sure know how to pose for the camera!

    I'm sorry you had to be re-homed, Opal, but thankfully you landed in truly loving and committed home, a human who will love and appreciate you for the very special, most magnificent creature that you are! How lucky she/he is, having you as her/his "first," a sweet, gentle and loving best friend in you, Opal! You're a treasure, just as special and can be, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

    Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you has been a real treat! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration...napping on your rock, spending special time with your human, being loved and pampered to pieces! And s my good friend tatsxxx11 pointed out, it does look like there's a heart shape in that first picture! You have the most delightful personality, too. You're kind, loving, patient, and friendly. You are your dear person's first snake, and what a lovely introduction you are to sharing his/her home and life with a snake! You both love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

    Wow, first of all, excellent name. Opal is just a remarkable creature, so beautiful. For some reason it seems pretty clear that this is one content and very healthy and happy snake. P.s. I love Opal, there could not be a more magnificent POTD
