    Kiwi the Calico Kitten!

My cat Kiwi is the sixth cat I own. I volunteer at our local shelter, in Hancock County, and she was brought in with her sister attacked by a dog, that was all we were told, but they were ok. I knew the second I saw Kiwi that I wanted her, and I knew I had to try and figure out a way to convince my husband to letting me have one more. I held her for a half hour she was dirty and scared but so sweet I was promising she was the last, obviously he said ok.

Kiwi was about three and a half months old and when I brought her home. Of course I had to keep her in spare bedroom until my other five cats could get used to her scent. It took a couple days and my Philip, BayBay, and my Kozmo welcomed her just fine, Keke and Kallie took a little time.

She is super sweet, just a very loving calico kitty. She almost looks like she has a mask on. She is a small cat; the vet said she prob will stay small. She is full of energy and seven and a half months old and my other kitten Kozmo is eight months old and they get along great. She follows me everywhere and loves to be scratched under her chin. I love all my cats, but she is truly the sweetest.
Hello, Kiwi in West Virginia! Happy New Year and happy Cat of the Day!

We met your kitty siblings Philip and BayBay on Valentine's Day 2018, and now we get to meet you! What a beautiful calico kitten you are! Your mutli-colored fur looks so soft to pet, and I like your sweet face and l-o-n-g whiskers!

You are a very sweet and loving girl! You get along very well with Kozmo, who is close to you in age. You follow your person from place to place, and you love chin-rubs! Best of all, you are a much-loved girl, just like all your kitty siblings! PURR-fect!

Happy, happy Cat of the Day to lovely Kiwi!

Dearest Kiwi, what an absolutely stunning young Calico lady you are! Your fur looks so very soft, and the coloring is gorgeous, so intense. And what a sweet face you have, with those lovely big eyes and the cute pink nose and those amazingly long, LOOOOOOONNG white whiskers and eyebrows! Thank you for sharing those great photos with us. You are adorable in each of them. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Hancock County, WV to pet you, and pet your kitty housemates Philip, BayBay, Kozmo, Keke, and Kallie too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Meowmie will pet you all for me .

And what a terrific story you have to tell! You and your sister were brought in to the Hancock County shelter, where your dear Meowmie volunteers. (We thank Meowmie for volunteering there, and we thank the shelter for all the good work they do for animals.) She knew right away she wanted to bring you home and convinced her husband that that was a good thing to do. You joined your five kitty housemates, Philip, BayBay, Kozmo, Keke, and Kallie, in your new Furrrever home.

You have the most delightful Purrrsonality! You're super-sweet and very loving. You follow Meowmie everywhere, and you love chin-skritches. You're also full of energy at seven and a half months old, and you love to play with eight-month-old Kozmo. You and your dear kitty housemates and Purrrents all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Kiwi, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and dear Philip, BayBay, Kozmo, Keke, and Kallie and Meowmie and Dad and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Dear Kiwi, what a beautiful Calico girl you are. You look so soft and fluffy, and your face is too adorable. You have the longest whiskers and eyebrows I have ever seen!
I'm glad that you and your sister were ok after that dog attack. How scary that must have been!
Your meowmie fell in love with you right away, so she had to convince your dad that you should join the family.
And here you are, an energetic and sweet baby. The other kitties have accepted you, and now you romp through the house with your brother Kozmo.
Kiwi, you are precious beyond words, and I wish you, Philip, BayBay, Kozmo, Keke, Kallie and your parents a great day full of celebration, and many more happy and healthy years together.
