    Who did it?

This morning, I found some cotton stuffing in the living room. It took me a while to find the source. It was a mousie on a string that had been gutted. It was attached to a scratch post for years, living quietly and undisturbed until last night.
I'm blaming Monroe, the pica cat, because nobody has told me otherwise.
So he will be shipped, through Prime, to a place far away, unless he can prove his innocence.

Of course he's innocent. Just look at that sweet face!

Then who IS the guilty party? Can't be one of the other cats. Did someone slip into your house while you were all asleep?

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I hope it's not Monroe, because I need my office su-purr-visor happy and healthy! I hope he (or another kitty) didn't ingest any of the stuffing. I agree with Pat about his sweet face!

I think Monroe will be able to resume his office duties. There was a lot of stuffing, I don't think anything was missing.
Last night, that little rascal went to the spot where the mousie used to be. I think he returned to the crime scene.
