… but for some reason, Willa is on my mind.
I walked by her resting place, and I keep looking at all her pictures.
She looked so dainty and fragile, but she was one tough kitty. Vet visits were always a challenge, but as soon as we came home, she had forgiven me.
Even at 20 years of age, after a successful litterbox visit, she would dart through the house at lightning speed. It sounded like a herd of tiny elephants. I miss hearing it so much.
She was also very playful and affectionate. She couldn't get enough of the laser pointer.
In the morning, she would always sit in my lap when I had breakfast. Willa was the only cat in the house not afraid of strangers or the vacuum cleaner.
She was 7 years old when she adopted me. Even though I don't know her past, she seemed to have been treated well.
She was truly special, a once-in-a-lifetime kitty.
Willa, I know you always here, I love you so much!
