    Lesion on Oscar's face

At some point int the last couple of years Oscar developed a tiny bump beside the upper bridge of his nose, between it and his eye.

It was interesting at first as it had a microscopic pattern of his tabby strips. It didn't seem to bother him and stayed the same size. I asked the vet to biopsy it during his upcoming dental.

Not sure when it happened, but the pattern part disappears. It bleeds easily, on one occasion happening when he washed his face.

It has been doing the same the last couple of days, intermittently and when accidentally stroked (me) or touched (Oscar grooming).

It has stopped now and Oscar isn't bothering it.

I'll report this to my vet of course, but does anyone here have some idea of what it is?

    Thanks!

I don't, Candace, I'm sorry.. Good idea to report it to the vet.

Please let us know what she has to say!

All the best to Oscar and you from Pat and Sparkler.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

You should get your answer with the biopsy. Lumps or bumps on kitties always need to be investigated.

Oscar has an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. They'll look at the lesion and also re-examine his teeth for any change. I'm applying for financial help with his upcoming dental so we want the estimate to be up-to-date.

Wishing both of you good luck for the appointment.
