    United by warmth

Mindy can't stand her brother Monroe (he's her actual littermate), and every time, he is close by, she hisses and spits at him, even when he is ignoring her.
So today, I found this incredible scene in the laundry room. The running dryer has managed to unite those two, even if it was just for a few minutes!

Hee hee - but still a little distance between them! Close but not touching, lest you believe she actually likes him!

    Well done, kitties!

(Or are they really both just waiting for nice warm soft things to come out of the dryer for them to lie on?)

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

The top of the dryer is warm, when it is running, so they both are getting their behinds warmed up!
None of my kitties gets into the warm laundry.
