What a beautiful, oh so precious, tri-colored wheeker boy you are, Peanut! I used my hand to cover half of your face and yep, two piggies in one! hehe Your exact age may not be known, Peanut, but it's clear you're still a youngster at heart, with the spunk of a piggy not half you age!

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved brother, Lettuce. Yes, guinea pigs do crave the companionship of a fellow wheeker, in addition to their human. But thankfully, being the strong, stoic boy that you are, having a devoted human there to comfort and love on you, you've managed to carry on! And who knows! Maybe one day your human will welcome another pig into the fold! But even if that day never comes, one thing is for sure, that you will never be wanting for love and companionship, cherished forever and always for the very special furkid that you are! Your mom/dad is one lucky human, having a beautiful best friend and loving companion in you, Peanut! You're a treasure!

Congratulations, Peanut, on being POTD! We cavies (GPs)! You are precious, adorable and brilliant! We are so sorry that you lost your brother but we know you will still thrive. We have rescued/adopted MANY homeless GPs through the years, some were brothers, and they had to be separated because of fighting. They all were happy and healthy in their own space with their own toys and food. It is NOT TRUE that all GPs "need" a cage mate.
