Dearest Gizmo, what a beautiful mature kitty you are! You are an absolutely gorgeous lady, with that multi-color Tortie fur that looks so soft and that sweet face with the dark nose and the white whiskers and those lovely big eyes we can barely see the slightest slits of. Thank you for posting those great photographs, which show so well how adorable you are. I wish I could reach through the screen and across the ocean to Norfolk, England to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .

And what a story you have to tell! You and your littermates were hiding behind a washing machine. When the lady there pulled it out, they ran for shelter but you came right up to your dear Purrrson-to-be, purring and rubbing your head against his/her knees. You two have been together ever since, sixteen years now! (We hope your shy littermates and your mom also found wonderful loving homes.) You've grown up together, playing and cuddling. You are very arrogant and like to lay in awkward places such as the top of the stairs and the middle of the bed. Despite that arrogance, you do love a bit of affection! You and your dear Purrrson love each other unconditionally. What a delightful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations on being honoured as Cat of the Day, dear Gizmo!

What a gorgeous girl you are! Your coat has such beautiful markings, your face has little streaks of orange... and look at that artistic nose! Although you are almost sleeping in your pictures, I can see you have beautiful eyes, too, and the sweetest face.

You have been with your special person since she was two years old, so you have a very close bond, and she loves you to bits.

When your new family came to adopt you, you hid behind a washing machine, along with your siblings, but you were brave and came forth, proudly purring, and rubbing your head against your new mom. She wasn’t allowed to name you, but I think your name Gizmo fits you quite well, anyway.

Like many cats, you like to lay in awkward places, but also smack bang in the middle of her bed. I’m sure that’s because you want some cuddles.

How lucky your human is, having known your love and devotion these past 16 years, since the two of you were just babies!!! The two of you grew up together! How lucky your human was, the day you chose her/him to be your own and only, no doubt a case of love at first sight for you both, and the rest is happy history!

From your sweet picture of that beautiful tortoiseshell face, I could tell that you had a very good home and that you were happy. You even chose you human. You "proudly" walked up and she/he just had to pick you!
You can be a little bit of a bed hog at times, but that way you get extra cuddles! You have known your human almost their whole life, so you have an unbreakable bond. I hope you have many more fun times to come and many more years together!
