Marvelously Talented Mr. Tuna!
Dearest Mr. Tuna, what a gorgeous guy you are! You are so pretty with that orange-tabby and white fur that looks so soft, and that sweet face with that cute pink nose and the orange mustache and those lovely big orange eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You are adorable in every one of them, as you know. What a sweet, precious kitten you were, and of course what a sweet, precious kitty you've grown up to be. Were you looking for a kitteny tummy-rub in that last picture? I wish I could reach through the screen and over to California, and back through time to rub it, if you were looking for a tummy rub, and rub it now if you still like getting it rubbed, and pet you too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons rubbed your tummy then and will now, as you like, and will pet you for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You came to your dear Purrrsons when you were just six weeks old. You missed your kitty family at first but soon warmed up to your new warm bed and yummy smelly food. You love to eat, and you let your Purrrsons know you want some of whatever delicious food they're eating by stepping on their heads and yelling loudly. You also love head-skritches and will drag a nearby human hand to your head to let them know you need some petting. You sometimes go on play dates with other cats, though it's boring if they can't keep up with you. You wait for your dear Purrrsons to come home and welcome them with loud yells demanding ear-skritches. You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Mr. Tuna, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
