It’s 8 degrees F just after midnight in my part of Chicagoland. Not as super cold as last night.

Yesterday morning, it was 4F at our house, in the record range for North Carolina.
This morning, it was a balmy 10F.

Here in Zürich, it has been very warm lately, about +12 -15 degrees C. Yesterday there was a huge storm.

To all of you in the path of the so-called "Cyclone Bomb," we're sending along all good wishes that you keep keep safe and warm.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

That's me! It is so cold and blizzard the mourning doves are roosting on my porch, under a chair and on my tool chest to get out of the wind for a bit!

I just finished a bowl of stew I had frozen a couple weeks ago, I am cozy and warm.

Geesh, you really have bad weather over there! Stay safe.. and give your leftovers to the birds and other critters outside.

It's getting cooler here, but still no frost. It's been grey with rain and quite windy, though. I can't wait for spring!

Thank you. It's now 7°F (-22°C) out and sinking. I am inside and baking cookies.

It's still cold, 5F this morning. By the end of next week it's supposed to warm up to 60F. How crazy is that?

North Carolina is having an unusually cold and snowy winter. This morning, it started snowing at 4:30am (I know because that's kitty breakfast time), it's 9:45am now, and we have already 4 inches. Windchills tonight will be in the single digits and below zero (in F).
I'll be outside in a little while to frolic in the snow because even the vet hospital is closed today.

Wow, that's cold! And here I am, complaining about 2 Celsius. WE haven't had any snow yet, but we probably will in the next few days.

Enjoy the snow! It looks beautiful!

This has been the most serene and beautiful day so far. I spent about 2 hours outside, clearing my car and covering the windshield with cardboard (just in case), walking around and taking pictures.

Although it looks beautiful, it's no weather to go shopping - I hope you have stocked up!

Do any of your kitties want to step out in it?
