Dearest Keepie, what a gorgeous mature Tuxedo lady you are! Your black and white fur is so beautifully patterned and looks so soft, and what a sweet face you have with your cute pink nose and the white whiskers and those lovely big eyes. Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us! You are adorable in every one of them. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Salem, OR to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! Your dear Purrrson first met you as a kitten at the store when she/he went catfood-shopping. He/she left but couldn't stop thinking about you, and after the third visit went home with you! You already had two other kittens there who weren't too crazy about having a new housemate, but three days later they accepted you. You have been friends for years! Now they have both passed on to the Rainbow Bridge (one was 16.5 and the other 17), and you are in single-cat mode at age 18 1/2. Earlier you were passive and quiet, but now you are vocal and the boss! Your dear Purrrson doesn't mind answering to you. You both love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Keepie, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know your two predecessor-Angels are rejoicing with you at the Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
