    Poor Zazou is VERY ill

Last week we realized that something was very wrong with Zazou.
Normally Zazou was a "fast eater", meaning: she was always eating in a hurry. But since saturday she stopped eating and also drinking.
We tried to make her eat by giving her food her favorite food, but she didm't eat at all.... .
This morning we phoned our vet and told him what was happening with Zazou, and he wanted to see her as soon as possible.

He saw that Zazou had lost a lot of weight since her last visit... .
He tried to get some blood but she refused to sit still.
He had to sedate her to do this.
He will know the results this evening or tomorrow morning.... .
He said he was afraid that Zazou's condition was very very bad.... .
We are both afraid that she is dying.......

I hope the vet can make Zazou feel better soon.
You might try slightly warming her food so she can smell it. Sometimes that helps stimulate the appetite.
Get the stinkiest food. Hopefully, the vet will have some answers soon. How old is Zazou?
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

Lut, I'm sorry to hear Zazou is sick. I hope the tests will come back with good results - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her.

Keep an eye on her, and like Kuhio says, try to entice her with some stinky food, and see if you can make her drink. Put water all around the house for her.

Sending lots of positive thoughts and kisses to Zazou - and hugs to you.

    Very bad news.....
The vet just phonend us about the results, and they are very bad......
Her lever is completely ruined, her thyroid is really bad too, and her troat & gums are colouring yellow....; this means she has jaundice as well...
    There is NO cure.....
The vet says the she has no oer very little pain.
So werven decided to het her a injectie with cortisone, and maybe she starts eating again then?
This only giving her (and us) some extra time....
As soon as she is real pain, we will let her go...
    I'm so heartbroken.................
