Happy Pet of the Day!

What a breathtaking beauty you are, Ducky! I can't remember the last time we were treated to pics of a Cockatiel with wings spread...stunning!

But even more impressive than your outer beauty is your incredible smarts, your repertoire of tricks and commands, more importantly, your BIG heart, your sweet and loving personality, your unwavering devotion to your human! How blessed she was, that fateful day you picked her to be your very own, and just as your mom says, the instant connection was mutual! Who could resist, indeed!

Ducky is eager to please me and loves doing tricks. He knows wave, wings, turn around, recall, fetch, basketball, ring toss, go through hoop and birdie bowling. Ducky is very affectionate and bows his head to get head scratches. It's a 'tiel thing. He is very needy, and wants to be with me constantly. Place him on a perch, and he'll be flying back to you before you even sit down. When he's on you, he just likes to sit quietly and preen. Who could resist?

How blessed your mommy is, having a best friend, a loving companion, a feathered soul mate in you, sweetheart! You truly are one in a million, a never ending source of love and joy, and so very deserving of your big day of honor! Thanks to your mom for sharing her heartwarming tribute and all of those beautiful photos with us! Meeting you has been pure joy! Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Dearest Ducky, aren't you ever the most adorable Lutino Cockatiel! You are so pretty with those colorful feathers and the sweet face. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You're stunning in them all, and it's fascinating to see you in flight there! And you have the most delightful personality, too. You make your dear person smile with all your energy and antics. You and he/she love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
