What a pleasure it is to meet you, sweetheart! I can't tell you how moved I was, reading your mommy's love filled tribute, your heartwarming homecoming story, seeing your heart-melting photos!

Just as your mom says, Winry, you are not only deserving of the title Dog of the Day, you are her Dog of the Day EVERY day; her heart dog; her Dog of a Lifetime; her soul and inspiration; her dream doggie come true, right down your fluffy, golden coat and dark muzzle!

For a while there it didn't look as though her dream would be realized, but as the saying goes, fate will have it's way and finally there you were, her Grace! Not a doubt in my mind that you and she were destined to be together, Winry, and what a dream team you two make! Thanks to you, her love for photography has blossomed, her spirit soothed, her unmatched commitment to rescue cemented! Just think! Thanks to you and her, so many deserving creatures will find their way to loving forever homes, homes just like yours! What a legacy, yours and your mom's!

Dearest Winry, what a beautiful Border Collie/Golden Retriever mix girl you are, and what a wonderful story you have to tell!
