    Willa has a UTI

Last night, Willa became very restless and she started going from litterbox to litterbox. Every time, she produced only very little urine. She was also very vocal. I knew she was painful.
So I took her to work today, and her urine showed lots of bacteria, blood and white bloodcells.
Her vet added antibiotics and pain meds to Willa's extensive pharmacy. The good thing is that she's still eating well, has no diarrhea and....she gained a little weight.
Most likely, the chemo drug and the prednisolone are weakening Willa's immune system, and therefore, she's more susceptible to infections.
But as long as she's willing to take all her meds and as long as she's eating, we will continue.
Right now, she's sleeping. She's my little angel.

Oh no, it's one thing after the other. Glad that she is eating and gained weight, though.

I'm sending lots of positive and healing thoughts to Willa... and hugs to you.

Thank you so much everybody for the well wishes. Willa is much more comfortable today, she had three dose of her antibiotic so far. Since she seems to feel much better, I suspended her pain meds.
