Hyper cat

I have a cat who is 4 yrs old and his name is Richard. I adopted him from a shelter and gave him a loving home. He came to me very hyper. He has settled down some but still acts like a bully. I don't know how to help him. I feel bad for him. Can someone offer a suggestion. I have tried the Bully solution from Jackson Galaxy but it doesn't work on him. I've tried a few other things from the pet store and they seem to only work for a short time and that's it...Help!!! I love my Richard unconditionally and want to help him. I have two other cats and one dog. He gets a long really great with my dog. He goes after the other two cats and acts like a bully...

How long has Richard been in your home? How much introduction time did you give him and your other kitties?
Has he hurt the other kitties, and which remedies from the pet store have you tried?
Have you ruled out any health issues?
