Dearest Puma, what an utterly adorable Abyssinian youngster you are! You are so pretty with that colorfully-speckled fur that looks so soft and that sweet face with the huge Aby ears and the lovely big eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us. You indeed look like a little mountain lion! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Santa Cruz to pet you, and pet your sister if she is home already or whenever she does arrive! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you both for me .
And what a delightful story you have to tell! Your dear Purrrson and you adopted each other when you were nine weeks old. You are ten weeks old at the time of your Pet Talk COTD entry, and in just that week's time you have already made yourself completely at home! Within 24 hours you started running to your dear Purrrson when called, and by the next day you had the run of the house. You make him/her smile with all your energy and antics. You sleep curled up by her/his neck, and you've made it your serious mission to eat nearby fingers at 3 a.m. You two (and your sister if/when she is there) love each other dearly, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Puma, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We bet that your 17-year-old kitty-predecessor Angel is rejoicing with all the Angels at the Rainbow Bridge for you!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
