Dearest Lola, you are lovely indeed, positively adorable! That silvery-grey Tabby-patterned fur is gorgeous and looks so very soft and luxurious, and what a sweet face you have with those long white whiskers and the lovely big eyes. Thank you for sharing all those terrific photos with us! They show you in so many different moods. I wish I could reach through the screen and all the way around the world to Australia to pet you, and pet your kitty housemates Tommy and Lilly and your doggie housemate Milly, too. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you all for us .
And what a delightful story you have to tell! You came as a stray to the last house your special Purrrson lived at. Then she/he moved, and you went to live with his/her family, including Tommy and Lilly and Milly. You and Tommy sometimes have differences of opinion on just who is the boss. And Milly, a herding-dog breed, tries to round up you cats as if you were sheep! You spend a lot of time asleep on a bed downstairs or hiding out in the garden where you watch the world go by. You have come a long way from the life of a stray to that of the carefree princess you are now! You and all your family members, all species, love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Lola, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Tommy and Lilly and Milly and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
