    Songs in your head

Earworm (n): a catchy song or tune that runs through a person's head

I enjoyed this thread very much before the server went down, so I'm starting a new one. What's on your "internal soundtrack"?

Last night I dreamed that I was falling, so my earworm today is "Broadway Here I Come" from the TV show Smash - "I'm falling baby through the sky through the sky, falling down through the sky..."

The past two days I have had a song stuck in my head that I don't even like!!!
It's a new song by Miley Cyrus called Malibu. It's horrible and she sounds terrible too. I have nothing against Miley either.
Just this song. Yesterday I even went online to get another song to play in my head. It worked, then this morning..........
    There is Malibu again!!!!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

For some reason only known to the universe Tears for Fears songs keep looping...and occasionally REM. OK, brain, what's with the 1980s soundtrack?

Because the 80's had the BEST concerts and music?

Sometimes I wake up in the mornings with my "Song for the Day".

It's pretty scary because I'll roll out of bed and the song is already in my head - Prog rock days are the best!

Sharp Dressed Man, ZZ Top. We are going to see them at the PNE soon. I am sure a couple of their tunes will stick in the old cranium. I find Billy Idol a pretty good one, I have heard that if you hum the tune to Gilligans Island that all of your ear worms will disappear.

    Oh, oh.........

They play that song at the ball park to get the fans riled up.....I don't know it was a song, song.

Another song/clip that they play is some guy repeating the line, "Everybody clap your hands" - The FIRST time I heard it I thought the guy said, "Everybody cr@p your pants".

I sometimes spontaneously burst into song during the day.......when I need a good laugh!

I just looked up the song and boy is it annoying!
