Well, of course, she deserves to be DOTD! She's is just darling. She reminds me so much of my Chihuahua, also a rescue. Thank you for rescuing both Luna and Roady. I wish you all many, many happy years ahead.

Good morning, Luna! Happy Dog of the Day!

Aww! What an adorable Chi girl you are, Luna, and so aptly named, for you clearly are the light of your mommy's life!! And as is so often the case with our adopted furkids, you rescued your mom every bit as much as she did you! No doubt about it. You and she were destined to be together, best friends for life!

Luna loves to give kisses! Hopefully that tells you a little about my wonderful dog. I can't praise her enough. I really love her so much, she's saved me in ways that I can't describe.

Your mom is one lucky lady, having a furkid as sweet and loving and devoted as you in her life, a furry friend to hike with, a cuddly companion to chill on the couch with (binging on Netlix)! And at 7-8 years young, me thinks you still have many more years of fun times with your mom to look forward to!

Great thanks to your mom for opening up her heart and home to not just one but two such deserving doggies...you and Roady! (How anyone could consider shooting a family dog for having "accidents" is beyond comprehension!)
You truly are a treasaure, Luna, and if anyone should need proof of just how rewarding going the rescue route can be, they need only read your story!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, Luna! Meeting you, seeing all our heart-melting photos, reading your mommy's heartfelt, love filled tribute, learning of the happy life you and she share, has been the perfect start to my morning! Hope you enjoy your big day in the spotlight, cutie pie, spending fun time with your mom, chillin' on the couch, maybe taking a hike, being treated to all your heart desires and more!
