Hello, dearest Pixie, sweet little Tuxie child! You are adorable with that cute little white beard and the long white whiskers and eyebrows and the lovely golden eyes so full of love and gratitude. Your fur looks so soft and sleek. I wish I could reach through the screen to Newland, NC to pet you! Oh, well, I can't, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .
And what a great story you have to tell! I too am horrified and appalled that you were abandoned as a mere infant by some sub-human creep. No wonder you were scared! I'm so glad you were rescued and brought to the Humane Society, where you adopted your dear Purrrson. He/she gives you loads of cuddles to help make up for your awful beginnings.
You are full of energy and make her/him smile with all your kitteny antics. That's so nice that you have a bigger kitty, Gabby, to play with and follow around! you love to carry your feather toy around and to snuggle up on your Purrrson's lap when he/she watches TV. What a delightful love-filled home you all share!
Congratulations, darling Pixie, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Gabby and your dear Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
