Lion father meets cubs for the first time

This is from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, but I found it on Daily Squee. It's adorable! I've never heard a lion make the sounds this guy does at the end, either.

p.s., Mayor Karen, I'm not sure if this should be here or over in Cat General.

Here's a narrative to go with the video clip.

Great video! It reminded me of the time we went to Space Farms Park in northern New Jersey. There was an enclosure with a mommy lion, daddy lion, and 6 week old cubs. The babies were having a blast climbing all over daddy while he just laid there allowing it. After awhile they went off to play. The mother stood up, looked at the babies then they all lined up behind her with daddy at the end. As she started leading them back inside the last little guy in line decided to break out. As he did, daddy lion lifted his paw and smacked the little guy on his hind end and he went flying. The baby got right back in line and followed the others without further attempt to break out.
