Dearest Jack, what a fine-looking brown tabby growing boy you are! Your fur looks so soft, and what a sweet face you have, with those pale green eyes looking out straight at me. I would love to be able to reach through the screen over to Ontario to pet you! And your brother Wilbur and your mentor kitty Bobbie too, of course. Well, since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you all for me .
How good that you and Wilbur and your whole family were all rescued by those fine people at the Kingston Road Animal Hospital! God bless them for their hard work and their caring for and about you all, and God bless your Purrrson for adopting you rescued boys, and God bless you, Jack, and your family and all the animals.
You make your human smile with all your antics, playing with Wilbur and chasing the laser pointer and coming for supper when he/she says 'tuppa Jack?' She/he loves you dearly, and you love him/her right back, don't you. What a delightful love-filled home you all share!
Congratulations, darling Jack (and Wilbur and Bobbie too, of course) on being selected today's Cat(s) of the Day. We hope you and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats, maybe even another round with the laser pointer!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
