This is ridiculous. The calendar says SPRING, but the weather says something else.....

I was watching the Weather Channel and am disappointed!!!! This calls for more hot water.

I am making tomato soup and grilled cheese while I figure out when the 'equatorial vortices' will start?

    DONE!

Grilled cheese, please! And of course tea! It was actually above freezing today - 41°F - so felt warm, to me anyway!

Okay, NOAA's forecast for Sunday and monday here was clearing overnight with mid 40s and sunny today. That explains the 5-10" of snow.

4 sheets of meringue cookies in the oven, time for a glass of wine.

Our weather was totally spring!!! Sunny and not a cloud in the sky until Wed when the rain hits for 3 days. Gotta love it.

One BM for me please. Thx. Richard...we need to talk.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

The Chicago Sun-Times describes the weather in one word every day. Today's word: Petulant. Spring has sprung somewhere - just not here!

Is the pan still out for toasted cheese sandwiches? I'd like to make one for myself, and I like tomato slices on grilled cheese. Would anyone else like one with me? (I have a friend who makes a grilled cheese sandwich with butter on one of the slices of bread, and mayonnaise on the other. I've never tried that.)
