Photos of my Clowder - January 2014

It has been quite some time since I took pics of ALL my cats. So long, that several of them thought hiding was a good idea, ha haa. Anyway, now I have the new camera, I worked my way through the 8 of them. I took over 100 photos to get these good ones!

First she tried to evaporate into the pet bed.

Then she moved to the gate at the door (to keep the dogs out)

Oh, aren't they pretty.. they all are!

Thank you, Sandie, for posting these great photos. They make me feel I'm really getting to know your gang.

So glad to see they each got their own portrait shots, are they jealous because the fluffs get so many pictures, or glad they normally do not have to endure the fleshy box?

I'm glad you are enjoying the kitty pics.

I used to spend lots of time with the cats, and taking their photos. Even with Sugar, Lacey, Marlin and Ozzy, and then with Tasha. However, once Willy arrived, he needed so much of my time, plus he chases them, that I tapered off. Then Riley joined our family and with her poodle mix she has a high prey drive; so the cats spend most of their time in the cellar, and only come upstairs at night when we are asleep and I have a gate across my bedroom door so the dogs can't get out. I sort of realized this in recent months (as life has settled now Dad is in the nursing home), but it really came home to me when I was on Dogster and saw some photos of my bed. It was covered with dogs AND CATS! That has not happened in 3.5 years, since Willy came here.

So I am trying to rebuild my relationship with the cats, spending more time with them. Of course this infuriates the dogs, who start whining and barking. Baby gates and doors are getting a work out!
