Suddenly I have to "sign in" each time I come to Pet Talk now ???

All of a sudden, since yesterday, I have to "sign in" to Pet Talk when I start it up on my computer. It has always had me signed in when I get on to it from this computer, or in fact my laptop at home too.

Karen/Paul, have you changed something in the way Pet Talk works when you start it up so the user HAS to sign in again and again?

No, we have not changed anything. When you signed in did you check the "remember me" box? if not it only gives you a temporary cookie that expires at the end of that session!

I just now checked the "remember me" box when I signed in this time, so I hope that will fix it. Thanks, Karen!

What I don't understand is how it suddenly "forgot" me a day or two ago, when it had been remembering me for years.

I just came back on now, and it remembered me. So it looks like this fixed it. Thanks, Karen!

As Karen said, every so often the cookie expires and you do have to sign in again. Glad you found that box to check! Even with that, once or twice a year you will have to sign in again! Happens with forums and yahoo mail and all sorts of sites!
