This is such a wonderful thread! The 'cat art' including cat objects (not just art as in paintings) are varied and quite unique. The art by Gini's husband is wonderful, such talent!

But most of all, what struck me is the love of PT'ers for one another, that one person touched so many in so many ways, online. The caring, for her cats, and the ways of raising funds for their care, like this. Makes me proud to be a part of this online community!

I've never seen anything like that #1, the cat candle holder, and hearing you can put a string of lights inside is such a wonderful idea! And if you have cats, much safer than a candle.

I do have the set of 6 cat coasters; they are quite small, the edges are raised so most coffee mugs won't fit 'inside.' I wanted to have a special metal piece made and hang them on the wall, but haven't go around to that yet.

When I first met Gini I showed her some pics of Edward and she said, "OH, that looks like Sugar! (She) had a white cat like that!!!!!

Kelly, can you give us an update, please. Was Richard's bid successful? Which pieces of Gini's cat art are "claimed" and which are left?

    Thank you so much,

As Elyse said, what is still available? I think she was going to remove pics as the various pieces were bid on, but we're on page 2 here - a recap would be helpful.

Finally, I have a chance to come to PT and update this thread. Sorry it's taken me so long. Here we go…

I have the following "Cat Art" left:

#1: Copper Kitty - Candle Holder **Richard has BID $70.00 for this item**
This measures 20" tall, 15.5" long, and 6.75" wide. Weight: 5 lbs

#2: **Cat Chasing Mouse Metal Decoration has a new home with Maggie (Pinot's Mom)**

#4: Six Ceramic Kitty Coasters **Richard has BID $30.00 for this item**
I haven't measured these, but I'd say they are no more than 4" x 4". Weight: Less than 1 lb

#6: Book - The Complete Book of Cats by Colin Dempsey has a new home with Maggie (Pinot's Mom)

    #8: Framed Cross-Stitch Tabby Cat
Cross Stitched Tabby cat framed. I was thinking if the matting didn't suit your colors/theme, you can easily change them out to something that goes well in your home. The frame is nice, but this too can be changed to suit your home/tastes.
    It measures 12.25" x 11.5" and weighs 1.5 lbs

I'm at my image limit, so I'll continue in the next post. 2 more left…those gorgeous Sugar paintings.

    #10: Sugar at Christmas, 1995
This one is soooo pretty. I always think of Tucker's portraits of Sugar when I remember my times in Gini's home. He was very talented and I feel like I know Sugar because of these paintings (and Gini's stories).
    It measures 17" x 18.5" and weighs 2 lbs

#11: Sugar Sleeping **Richard has BID $50.00 for this item**
GORGEOUS!!! I just love this! It evokes relaxation when I see it. And…the desired to crawl into it and curl up with Sugar!
    It measures 21" x 26.5" and weighs 4.5 lbs.

ALL of these are much nicer/prettier in person. I have issues with glare/reflection - sorry about that, guys. I've been offering to people to remove them from their frames so shipping is less expensive. Some of the frames are kinda old and may not match your homes anyway. So let me know.

OK, bid away if you are so inclined. Annie and Emma will be benefitting as I'm giving everything above the cost to ship to Cathy.

Thanks, Maggie! I'll update this thread w your bids in an hour or so.

Just a friendly reminder, shipping will be an extra cost. I can provide quotes if you give me a zip code. (And if you want insurance - it's been around $2-4 extra.) Thank you!
