    Songs about ... XVIII

    Songs about holidays?

We sang the hymn "Come, Ye Thankful People" on Thanksgiving, so that has been in my head. I heard Bing Crosby and David Bowie's "Little Drummer Boy" on the radio for the first time this holiday season, and the part David Bowie sings is in my head too.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

"We consume our tomorrows fretting about our yesterdays." -- Persius, first century Roman poet

Bruce Springsteen's live version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". I love when he says, "Are you being good? That's not many...you're in trouble out there!"

Trans Siberian Orchestra "Christmas Canon" is just hauntingly beautiful.
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!

    Christmas Rap, The Waitresses.

It's not Christmas without that song.
