Well, Casey is back home and fully alert and back to 100%. We still don't know what caused it, but he appears to have made a full recovery. One thing I did this afternoon while waiting to go get him was to e-mail his regular vet to let her know what happened so that she's aware and in case she wants to follow up with him. The feliway seems to be helping. Casey only hissed a little at Smokey when we first came in the door. Smokey has been the one who has been doing the hissing and growling, but it's slowly been tapering off with no actual cat fights this time. In fact, when I gave them their teaspoon of pumpkin in the kitchen, they ate about three feet apart. Last month after they both went to the vet, they wouldn't even eat in the same room together. Casey does have a couple bald spots on his neck where blood was drawn and on his front leg where the IV had been in. He's been affectionate before, but tonight while I was eating dinner on the couch, he stayed curled up right next to me.
