Prayers that each precious pup could find a home to give it the love it deserves...and that those involved get what they deserve!!!!!
Owned by my baby and heart-dog Lolli.

If each pet we love takes a part of our heart and replaces it with a part of theirs, my heart is a very strange collection of pieces, but I wouldn't have it any other way

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go, and then do it. --Ann Landers

I heard about this on the news last night. I spent the first 8 years of my career as a staff nurse at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. This makes me absolutely sick. The patient is physically helpless and vulnerable and this guy chose to take advantage of that. How dare you abuse a patient in that way. His action calls into question the integrity of every nurse who is or has been on staff there. I would never take advantage of a patient's trust that way. You can't ever be too careful. We used to explain to patients everything we would do before ever starting care. To the father's credit he said that everyone else on the staff has been outstanding, except this one nurse who seemed a little distant. This breaks my heart.

"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

Very historic raid and just hoping for wonderful future for the puppies. Hope there will be the most appropriate sanction for the suspects so others violators would think twice, and that's the best place for them.
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog. ~Edward Hoagland
