Thank you, that is beautiful. And now I am teary eyed again.

In tears here. I am so so sorry to hear about Lacey. Atleast her last days were good going to the park and such, she didn't have to endure a lessened quality of life. Try to take comfort in that. (((((HUGS))))) I know how strong the bond between a heart dog and their human is. Its painful to lose them, but the lessons they teach and the memories they leave behind are worth it.
The Minions:

Thank you Casper, for posting here. Every day is a tiny bit easier.

Oh my, somehow I missed this on Facebook and here!
I am also in tears. I remember the original four. They were my favorite groups of fluffs from when I originally joined Pet Talk.
Sandie, I am so very sorry for your loss.
RIP Beautiful Lacey Girl
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Freedom I soo understand when you mention Lacey was your heart dog----- they say we are very lucky to have had that one special friend in our life and you did have Lacey. I've had only one heart dog myself and one heart horse if that applies. Lots in between but never to the point of the bond we shared where you're sure they can read your mind before you even have the thought.
It gets better each day but never completely disappears---I would never want it to.
The poem Lizbud put here says it all and I truly believe those words.
Asiel
