My friend, Alvin Lee, passed away yesterday morning. I feel so sad.I got to know him through John back in the early eighties and we had many visits - in England, Denmark and Spain. He was a great guy and an exceptional good guitarist! He also loved cats.
Only about six months ago, he and Evi rescued two new ones from a shelter in Spain. They have two grown ups already. He sent a few pics of them, which I'll share.
He will be missed all over the world... for his music and for his sweet personality.
Rest in peace, Alvin. John will be welcoming you at the RB.
