Hi Katie! A VERY happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!
Oh, what a big, beautiful girl you are, Katie, a gentle giant with a heart of pure gold! I'm with "chocolate puppy"...your shiny white coat, your moo cow markings and bi colored eyes are striking. Talk about a "show stopper!" But it's your big, big heart, your sweet and loving personality and your fighting spirit that makes you so EXTRA special! Bloat is such a scary condition, and so often fatal, so it's wonderful to hear you survived your bout! And though the spinal complication you suffered as a result of the surgery has been a challenge, it sure hasn't kept you from living and loving life to its fullest!
No, unfortunately the time we have with our beloved furkids is not unlimited, but it's clear you, Katie, aren't ready to go anywhere, anytime soon!
What a treat it was meeting you this morning, Katie! Reading your heartwarming, inspirational story, gazing over your heart melting photos, sure has brightened my very dark, story day!
Enjoy your much deserved day of honor, sweetheart, being spoiled rotten!
Lots of love, BIG hugs and kisses to you, beautiful Katie!
P.S...Got a little teary reading of your devotion to your beloved stuffed "baby!"

Hello, Katie, beautiful lady! I am so glad you survived bloat. That must have been so scary. I agree with everybody - your eyes are very soulful and your moo-cow markings are wonderful! I would love to give you some enormous hugs -- maybe your people will give you some from me. I hope you have had a wonderful day as Dog of the Day! You are very special!
