+ 10.5 C- we have the warmest winter in over 30 years. All the snowbells, crocus and primulas are out. We all hope there will not be any more snow in March- it is not unusual here.

It's a whopping 12 degrees here and going up to a heat wave of 21. We are definitely in the freezer today.

It was 9 when I left for my classes this morning. I think I was really supposed to be born a southerner. I like the snow but I just hate the cold.

-16F in Ann Arbor this morning. That was the actual temperature, not the wind chill.

3 F when I left for work; it's not much warmer in the building but it's getting a little better.

We're having a tropical heat wave of 16 degrees. If you'd like to come by and share the heat, I'll put the coffee on.

We are in what is hopefully our last polar plunge of the year (but I'm not counting on it!).

Right now it is -5F; with the windchill it is -11F.

    Tonight's low is -35F.

    Yikes.

Now that we are BOTH retired - we need to get together one of these days. Just need to get my back taken care of first - then maybe we can plan something! I just saw on the Philly weather, that you could get 6-12 inches more snow on Monday. They are saying only 1-3 for us here - but ice and freezing rain before the snow. That will keep me grounded!

    OMG!

What is that like? How do people even survive it?

-16F sounds downright tropical in comparison.
