(THE PERSON WHO FOUND THE CAT WROTE THIS BELOW)
I recently rescued a blind Maine Coon, who was literally drowning in the rain outside of my neighbor's house and am desperately to find a place for him. I took him to my vet, who confirmed that not only is Henry (we went ahead and named him) blind, but he is also diabetic and in need of regular insulin injections. He also needs a full blood work panel and urinalysis in order to determine his insulin needs.
Henry is very sweet, gets along with my dogs and gets around easily, as long as you show him where his food, litter box and water are. Sadly, he has been turned down by Pet Helpers b/c of his blindness and possible diabetes and the Blind Cat Sanctuary is at state capacity. This poor boy deserves a loving home!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
