I've got Fister's results

Randi, I know you must be tired and worried and heartbroken over Fister. It might feel like you are getting pummeled with advice, but I think you know we want the best for Fister.

In the case of my mom's 13-year-old cat painkillers are doing great things for him. We have no idea WHAT is hurting, but Shiney is eating and getting his former personality back.

You and your vet know best...I just hope there is one more thing to try, painkiller, prednisone, one simple thing that can turn things around for Fister - and for you.

Unfortunately x-rays will not show IBD, you actually have to have a biopsy done (which runs about $1200 around here). But the idea of an x-ray or ultrasound is a good one. It can help rule out alot of different things.
