    Our Christmas portrait this year (2012) We went for a formal look this year.

    That is such a nice card! Not sure how they got all the puppers to look at the camera, but it's a fantastic picture.

    Robin, this is the fund raiser we go to, almost every year for the past 17 years. They use a professional pet photographer, who volunteers her time for the entire 2 days of shooting PLUS her time sorting through the proofs, driving up to Boston to the processing place she uses to drop off and again a week later to pick up. Santa also volunteers his time the 2 days. While we do pay a bit more than if we got our cards at, say, Sears, with no sitting fee and having all sorts of pets welcome, it is a great opportunity for all! The group usually makes $1800 to $2000 at this fund raiser.

    For our photo, she took 5 shots; the last one, she commented she needed one more for "two sets of eyes, " LOL so I guess she crops and shifts things among the proofs to get the final shot, another time consuming job!
