So sorry about your bad experience and I am glad you got out of there before they did further damage.

It sounds like there wasn't true communication between your doctor and the specialists.

I'll keep praying that you get the help you need so you can feel better. Pain is not fun.

I feel so bad for you and how you were treated at that hospital. Apparently all they did was make you more upset and stressed out than you already were. As I read your update I couldn't help but wonder where was their concern and compassion? Have you considered writing to the director of the facility to tell them how poorly you were treated?

Kirsten, is there anything I can do for you?

Goodness that is not how a hospital stay is supposed to go, not at all -- and I think you know this!

Take some time to calm down and recover your equilibrium. Then consider if you need to write a letter of complaint. And if you write it, then stop and consider if you should mail it or not.

Perhaps in future your doc can give you some anti anxiety meds prior to a hospital stay? That will help you deal with the stay a bit better and if you ever meet another set of weirdos (no, that wouldn't happen TWICE would it? I HOPE not!) you will at least be able to deal with them calmly yourself.

Sending you cyber hugs. Have a cuddle with the girls, go crazy with your camera, whatever works for you!
