Definitely keeping Grandma in my thoughts today.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Grandma is at the vets. They told me it would be this afternoon before they knew anything and not to be surprised if they need to keep her overnight. I guess right now that is where she needs to be but it was sure hard leaving her. I am just so afraid it's her kidneys.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

    Wonderful news

    The vet just called.
they can not find anything wrong with grandma. No infections; all her blood work is normal. Even her kidneys are in good shape for her age. No sign of thyroid problems or bladder cancer or anything.

The vet thinks maybe she is having a bit of dementia and forgets what she is doing when she pauses in the box like that.

I'm going to go get her at one this afternoon.
Thank you so much for the prayers.
She is one special girl. Even the vet is in love with her.

I personally would not have made it through this without you all!!!

Oh, Grandma, it's tough getting up there in age - we all know. Prayers and {{hugs}} you figure out what you're doing in that sandy box.

Grandma is now home and after a cuddle and a drink of water is sleeping on the bed in her favorite corner.
The vet has her age as 17 years and 5 months and weight as 7.6 pounds.

I am just so relieved. We both thank you again.
