    The kitten stays

Last week I posted about my mom and sisters had another kitten come their way. The 4th extra cat to pass through their care in less than a year (they'll take in friendly strays and find their owners or rehome them). This one came from my sister's boyfriend because his aunt has an unspayed female cat who had a litter and I was worried about what they are going to do with yet another kitten because its hard to find homes for them. But I guess my mom was a little defeated this time since its a hard thing to find homes for cats, so kitty makes 4 permanent cats in her home. My sister named him Payne, which suits him. He's a pain in the tail as I like to put it, especially if you want to get through a door without him. He had some learning from his non human friendly momcat so he doesn't like to be held much and will bite if he wants down, but he does follow people around and play with them so hopefully he may still become a social cat instead of a run-and-hide cat. The other cats already accept him and he is friendly with the dogs as the home he came from also has dogs and in fact the woman wants to get rid of one of her dogs too, nice pet home huh? He likes to chase the dogs' tails. Here's so pic spam love for you.

He's darling! Thank you and your mom and sisters for saving him. God bless you all.

Welcome darling Payne! I am sure he will mellow!

I hope your sister's boyfriend gets his kitty spayed. She produces adorable kittens but homes ARE hard to find.

Bless your family for taking this precious baby in! He is just adorable! Have no fear, Payne will eventually settle down. My Kimba was totally "street" and it took him at least 8 months to calm down. I still find things knocked down from shelves and he still isn't totally getting along with my other two, but he no longer bites when he is annoyed, that's a big thing!

I do wish I owned a house and could have a kitten but Payne will do. I raided my little sisters' box of junky happy meal toys today and found a handful of pull-back racers (the cars you pull back and they zoom forward). Totally fun with a kitten to chase them.
