    Pet Ambassadors

snakemama, I'm thinking of you! Since Mirasol was Pet of the Day I have several times pointed her picture out to women who admitted they were afraid of snakes. Each time, the ladies in question said "Wow, she is so pretty, maybe I wouldn't be afraid of her!" And "Gorgeous! not scary!"

Do you ever point out Pet of the Day honorees to teach people about different pets?

I think my own pet is a great ambassador, tho they are not commonly kept as pets. He helps at least teach people that they are not nasty vile creatures tho.

Who could resist? I do think you could do school visits with her, etc., when you and she are up to it!
