Every time I see a photo of a beloved older dog, I think of that saying "Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog" because it is so true. Nothing compares to that deep bond you share with an old dog who knows you inside out.

Myndi wants to thank you for all for her birthday greetings, and let you know she had an extra special day getting (more) spoiled by everyone. A special lunch, extra cuddles on the couch all afternoon, tons of hugs and kisses, and a gingerbread man cookie (dog variety) before heading off to bed for the night. Oh - the life of my dogs...

And Varga - you really nailed it with that saying about the love of an old dog. However the words "old/a little senile" are spoken in hushed tones around Myndi, since she doesn't feel that they apply to her. I have to admit - she is quite spunky for her age.
