Oreo crossed the Rainbow Bridge tonight, 9/12/11

Oreo hasn't been able to walk for a year and a half. We said we'd make the decision to send him to the bridge when his quality of life began to suffer. We had to make that decision tonight.

Oreo had a hard, hard life. He suffered from ear infections, eye ulcers, skin allergies. He was abused before we got him. We loved him.

We stayed in the room with him, and Preston rubbed his head until after he was gone. His sweet brown eyes never stopped looking at us.

I can't begin to say how sad I am that my sweet baby is gone.

I am so sad. May you find some happiness at the bridge, my sweet cookie.

    Diffcult situation

I am sorry you lost your beloved pup. You did the right thing by allowing him to go off to the Bridge. He will be back to his happy, healthy original state. Your heart my be broken. He was loved by you and your family and he knew it, I am sure.

Hugs to you and your family.

I'm so sorry that it was time for Oreo to make that final journey, but please know in your heart, that it was the right thing. You gave him the ultimate gift of love, in addition to the happy years that he spent with you. He'll be waiting to be with you again one day.

RIP Oreo - I always had a soft spot for you.

Oreo was so lucky to land with you folks. You had patience and gave him what he needed. And I am sure he knew this.

RIP Oreo, have a lovely romp at the Bridge.

Oreo got to know what real love was his last 4 years. He was a lucky dog, just as you were lucky people to have him in your life.

    RIP Oreo

It is sad that Oreo has gone from you now. I believe that his time with
you guys was the happiest days of his whole life. I am glad the little guy did
have love & tenderness in his lifetime. Rest easy now Oreo. You will not be
    forgotten.

I'm so very, very sorry. RIP sweet Oreo. You are healthy and strong and most importantly, safe. Romp freely at the RB.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
